Bloom & Wild deliver flowers to your house and through your door.
Unlike more traditional flower delivery, Bloom & Wild package their flowers in boxes designed to go through your letterbox. This made me curious. Can flowers really go through the normal mailing process undamaged? Will they still be in good condition? Only one way to find out….
Bloom & Wild App
Bloom & Wild have their own app for your phone / tablet. This impressed me.
The app was quick, detailed and easy to use.
As you can see, the app provides loads of colourful pictures and information about the different flowers available. You can also order the flowers and delivery through the app. A bit more convenient than having to be on a laptop to buy them!
Each of the different bouquet designs have several different pictures and a description to help make sure you’re getting exactly what you’re after.
Bloom & Wild website
The Bloom & Wild’s website is similarly beautiful. The colours in the choices available were striking. The purple / pink / peach combination in The Refinery29 arrangement, for example, are eye-catching.
There is a large selection of bouquets to choose from on the Bloom & Wild site. All come with free next-day delivery. There’s also the option to order a subscription to received flowers weekly, fortnightly or monthly at reduced prices.
The Milly is a ‘bright Spring bouquet of yellow roses and fragrant lilies’. My other half has a soft spot for lilies, so I clicked on this choice.
Ordering is simple, as you’d expect. Pick the bouquet you’re after, enter delivery / message / address details and you’re sorted.
And you’re done. We ordered the flowers late on a Thursday and delivery was arranged for the Saturday. There was some flexibility with delivery dates in case you’re trying to surprise someone on their birthday or an anniversary. Now, to see how the postman gets on with the flowers.
The Bloom & Wild delivery box could easily fit through the letterbox, but our postman decided to knock on the door instead. Perhaps he just wanted to say hello.
The packaging was sturdy and the flowers very well protected. The larger blooms had protective netting and there was cellophane around the whole bouquet. The flowers were in an immaculate condition. They were clearly top quality blooms.
At this point, I handed over the flowers to my Mrs and accepted all the hugs and kisses, but you don’t need to know those details. The lilies take a couple of days to open up but, in the meantime, you’ve still got the roses and a wonderful aroma.
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Bloom & Wild are clearly a step ahead of an old-school delivery service. The app makes it easy to order things on the go, the selection is extensive and simply beautiful and the added practicality of fitting through the letterbox makes life so much easier.
Bloom & Wild are offering a three month subscription – a new bouquet each month for 3 months! One lucky winner will be drawn from entries via the gleam widget below. Closing date 11 June 2016 @ midnight.
