Art of Football : Review : Christmas Postman

Art of FootballArt of Football is brilliant idea, perfectly executed, by brothers Luke and Gabriel Cuthbert.

They “create illustrations that try to capture the energy and emotion from the split second moments in football, then use this artwork on t-shirts and prints”. And they do it beautifully.

Their work is vibrant and football fans will recognise the famous moments, poses and players from their vast range of prints.

Art of Football has a range of moments available that go from 1966 (don’t mention it, I’m Scottish) through to Ibrahimovic in a Man U shirt and Leicester City winning the league.

Art of Football

Legends such as Cantona, Best, Maradona, Pele, Charlton, Zidane and many more are in ‘The Artists’ collection with artwork available either on t-shirts or as prints.

The T-Shirts come in adult (from £24.99) and kids (from £14.99) sizes, with designs also available in prints from £9.99. Even the packaging is wonderful!

The designs are exquisite. The energy of the moment translates wonderfully within the artwork. Any football fan would be delighted to receive this on Christmas Day!

My favourite personal football memory is When Dion Dublin played his last game for Coventry City before leaving the club, I got to throw the ball back onto the pitch! And also call him all the curse words under the sun! Haha

As far as infamous football moments go the “hand of god” moment has to be the funniest!

Being laughed at when the Euro’s in 2012 were on and England were playing Sweden, because I said “if Andy Carroll played from the start, he would score”. They weren’t laughing when he scored the first England goal that night. 🙂
