We went to Disneyland Paris a couple of years ago – an amazing trip.
My youngest two daughters had their birthdays the week we were there, turning 3 and 4. As you can imagine, they had a phenomenal time, especially as 12 of us (the family) had come along.
The parks themselves were magical. It’s a lot of hard work when you have two youngsters in a double buggy. They can’t walk all the time. It’s simply too much. We were clocking up about ten miles per day.
The lodges we were in, however, did fall short. We’d booked quite far in advance and were promised a lot more than we got because of refurbishments. As we felt that we didn’t get the accommodation / pond / woodland facilities that we had paid for, we contacted Disney to air our disappointment.
It took Disney a while to get back in touch, but when they did, their response was brilliant. They had listened to us and had come back to offer us a free 3 day return trip. With hotel stay. For all 12 of us!
Our return journey begins next week. Disneyland Paris has just started its 25 th anniversary celebrations, so it couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ll be sharing our experiences in the usual places (Instagram / Facebook /Twitter), which will include our favourites from last time and some new attractions too.
