Edinburgh is a wonderful place. I liked it so much, I was born there.
I don’t get there often enough, but we were lucky enough to get through at the weekend. Our destination was The Meadows, a sprawling, large city park with loads for the kids to do.
There’s a huge play area with new, fun equipment, a cafe and (as you can see in the background) loads of tennis courts.
A colourful corner of the park held surprises in store for passers by, courtesy of McDonalds and their summertime #hellogoodtimes activity days.
Party music, friendly staff and free McFlurrys were on offer along with free family activities. There was an Air Guitar stand for the brave. For those who posed for a picture while rocking out with inflatable instruments, there were free McFlurries! This was our effort!
Jack also took part in a ‘find the red ball’ game in an inflatable pool full of plastic balls. It had us in stitches!
McDonalds are running Activity Days during holidays and weekends all over the country. Get more details here! They promise fun, family games, treats and some VIP visits!
