IF YOU ARE MY WIFE, STOP READING THIS NOW!
Every year, I get my wife a photo album for Christmas. It’s something we had loads of as a kid. Our house was full of photo albums. Since everything went digital, however, it felt like we’d missed out by not having hard copies of pictures in the house.
So, for the last four years, I’ve been making a record of our year, just like we used to. Snapfish have made this easy to do in the past, so I was quite happy to take them up on their offer of checking out their new, updated interface and service this year.
The product I was ordering on the Snapfish website was their Hard Back Photo Book. The book starts at £29.99 which includes 20 pages, full colour. I chose 59 pictures which I wanted included in the book and headed to the site.
Uploading the photos was the easiest thing in the world. The website managed it all with ease. I picked which template I wanted and then the website gave me the best option I’ve ever seen on a photo website : autofit.
Now, I was very cynical about how good an autofit option would be in cramming 59 pictures into 20 pages and still maintain a high quality product. The Snapfish website, however, did this absolutely brilliantly. I was genuinely gob-smacked by how stunning they arranged the pictures in my chosen template. After tweaking a couple of pieces of text in the book to make it more personal, the whole thing was done.
It took a manner of minutes. And then it was done. After checkout, it was just a case of waiting for it to arrive. And then it did.
I’m very, very happy with the end product. The process was so easy and quick, and it arrived within a couple of days. There were so many different templates to pick from, and I’m happy – not only with the quality of the book – but that it looks exactly the way that I designed it.
If you, like me, still see the value in a real photo album, head on over to Snapfish and treat yourself!
