I’ve previously written about Cosmic Ordering, albeit tongue in cheek. In short, it’s the belief that a person can simply write down their wish list and wait for it to become reality. It may or may not be baloney – we’ll never know. Every now and again, though, something happens that reinforces credibility to this bizarre notion.
About a month ago, I posted on a thread on the Facebook Comper’s group Lucky Learners. Super Comper Di Coke had asked the Universe for a Wii-U and had invited other members to air their requests.
I posted stating that I would like to win tickets to the BBC Good Food show in Glasgow. I also wanted tickets to the Country Living Christmas Fair.
I only found four competitions for the Country Living tickets so there was a low change of winning those. There were about five competitions for the Good Foods ones, so the odds were still against me.
Odds, schmodds. I had asked the Universe, therefore the Universe would deliver! And deliver it did.
To date, I have won two of the competitions for the BBC Good Food show and THREE for the Country Living show. That’s a bewildering five wins from the nine competitions available. It can’t just be luck – I’m not that lucky. There must have been ….. another factor. Something mysterious. Something Cosmic. Something that we can’t understand…
I’m level headed. I take things in my stride. There’s really only one thing I can do. Prepare another list.
DEAR UNIVERSE. I WOULD LIKE ME:
- A new tumble dryer. Last one went on the fritz.
- A trip to Paris / any break to go on with the Mrs.
- Vouchers to go on a spending spree.
- A Kindle Fire.
- Tickets to Disney on Ice tickets
- A life-changing lottery win.
Now, the Universe is clearly listening. Post your requests below. Some of this luck may rub off on you!
