Check out that for a view. This is Woodland Experiences on the outskirts of Loch Lomond National Park.
It’s a partially converted small family farm that is home to the Woodland Light Experience, Santa’s Woodland Experience and today’s trip, the Woodland Fairy Experience.
Entry is £4 per person, regardless of age. That price also gets you tea / coffee / juice, biscuits, a map and a friendly welcome. We had a beautiful day for our visit. Once you’re through the main building, it’s a short work through the woods to the Fairy Experience. Just follow the map!
So, what exactly is a Fairy Experience? It’s quite interesting. It’s a walk through a real fairy village. You can see their houses, their village, their friends and suchlike.
The trail takes you through a building where you get quiz sheets and guidance on what to look for when searching for fairies.
Once you’re in the Fairy Village, houses are everywhere. Each house has it’s own character and it’s own inhabitant.
For the kids, it’s utterly magical. The adults, too, enjoy the beautiful countryside and the buzz from seeing the kids having such an amazing time. We’d totally recommend it. I just hope you have weather like we did.

Oh that is lovely and the price is really good too, especially since it comes with refreshments! You can’t beat that 🙂 That’s perfect weekend outing in my book!
What a lovely place to go and such a great price too.
Perfect day out for the summer in the warm weather.

Wow fairy village is beautiful it really does look like something out of a fairytale story book. My niece would love the trail.
Had a really lovely visit to the fairy trail. Enjoyed it so much nearly forgot it was for the children. Well worth a visit.
